A clear plan from first practice to test day.

31 October → mid-December
Cover the syllabus, topic by topic.
Join classes every Saturday and Sunday at 12 noon UK time. Work systematically through Paper 1 topics and Paper 2 reasoning, with targeted practice between sessions. Syllabus coverage finishes by mid-December.

After mid-December
Move into full tests.
Put the syllabus together in full timed tests. Review each attempt, identify gaps in reasoning or pacing, and use focused practice to correct them.

Final preparation
Review, refine and rehearse.
Revisit flagged questions, consolidate methods and use test feedback to guide the final revision before the January 2027 sitting.

Is January the right sitting for my application?
You can sit each test only once per admissions cycle; January is not a resit of October. Most Cambridge and Oxford applicants must test in October, with specified January-deadline exceptions. Check your course requirements before booking.
In China, Hong Kong and Macau, the January date is 8 January for TMUA. See UAT-UK for eligibility and access-arrangement deadlines.
