- Fees: The listed fees apply to all Thriving Scholars 1:1 tutoring courses.
- Scheduling: Sessions are scheduled based on the mutual availability of the tutor and the student.
- Session format: One-hour, one-on-one Zoom sessions hosted on the Thriving Scholars portal. All sessions are recorded, and meeting notes are shared with both the parents and the student.
- Refunds: Fees are non-refundable, except in cases where the tutor cancels a session or as otherwise agreed in writing.
- Cancellations by the student:
- Sessions may be rescheduled or cancelled with at least 12 hours’ notice.
- Late cancellations, less than 12 hours before the start time, may be charged as a full session at the tutor’s discretion.
- Tutor’s rights: The tutor may reschedule or cancel sessions due to unforeseen circumstances, with reasonable notice provided and a suitable alternative time offered.

Relevant Thriving Scholars resources and mocks are included while a student remains enrolled in the corresponding tutoring programme, subject to the stated package terms.

Can I switch between one-to-one and group classes?
Where a suitable group exists, students can discuss changing format. Availability depends on curriculum, level, target and timetable.
