What we do
World-class tutoring should feel personal.
Thriving Scholars was founded to make high-quality international exam preparation more structured, transparent and accessible. Our team includes IIT and BITS graduates, PhD-level experts, competition medallists and experienced teachers from academic and industry backgrounds.
Qualifications matter, but teaching ability matters just as much. We choose mentors who can make difficult ideas clear, diagnose why a student is stuck and build the confidence needed to work independently. Together, the team supports students across North America, Europe, the Middle East and Asia-Pacific.
The goal is not simply to complete a syllabus. It is to help students understand deeply, practise deliberately and enter important examinations without avoidable surprises.

Meet our founder
Rajat Agarwal, MDI Gurgaon
Rajat started his career as a home tutor, fascinated by how mathematics and the physical world can so clearly explain everyday life. He founded Thriving Scholars in 2019 to bridge the gap between raw potential and the right guidance—helping students feel calm, capable and confident in high-stakes examinations.
Since then, he has helped hundreds of students rethink how they learn, through focused individual sessions, small groups and larger lectures. His teaching philosophy became the Learn · Practise · Test system used across Thriving Scholars today.

Rajat is a Maths–Physics expert whose curiosity continually expands the depth of his teaching. Since founding Thriving Scholars in 2019, he has supported perfect test scores, AP 5s, IB 7s and distinctions in Olympiad preparation.
Statistics
Punit Agrawal
Punit helps students master statistics, data analysis, Python and machine learning. He holds a PGP in Big Data Analytics and Optimization, a BA in Economics and has studied Econometrics at LSE Summer School.

Sowmya
Sowmya is a Maths test-preparation specialist for IB, SAT and ACT with more than five years of experience. She simplifies Algebra, Geometry and Calculus through a personalised and confidence-building approach.

Radhika is a Computer Science graduate with six-plus years of experience and a third-place finish in the Codeavour 2020 AI competition. She teaches Python, Java and algorithms by adapting to how each student learns.

Atika Sharma
Atika is a Biotechnology expert and former Biocon scientist with a Master's in Biotechnology. She supports IGCSE, IB, AP and university Biology with more than 2,700 tutoring hours across 200 students.

Saumya Pandey
