Frequently asked questions
Which programmes and exams do you support?
We support students preparing for IB Maths and Physics, AP Calculus and Physics, A-Levels, Digital SAT, TMUA, ESAT, AMC 8/10/12 and selected Olympiads. If your course is not listed, contact us and we will confirm whether a suitable specialist is available.
How do you recommend the right programme for a student?
We begin with a free consultation and, where appropriate, a diagnostic test. We use the student’s target, exam date, current level and available study time to recommend a realistic plan rather than a one-size-fits-all package.
What happens during the first lesson?
The tutor confirms the student’s baseline, identifies the highest-priority gaps and agrees a short study plan. The lesson also gives the student a chance to experience the teaching style before committing to a longer programme.
Are sessions one-to-one or in small groups?
Both formats are available. One-to-one tutoring is fully personalised, while small groups work well for structured exam preparation with peer discussion. We will recommend the format that best fits the student’s goals and schedule.
How are online lessons delivered?
Live sessions take place online with an interactive whiteboard and shared resources. Depending on the programme, students also receive portal access, lesson notes, recordings, worksheets, question banks and digital mock tests.
What support is included between lessons?
Support varies by programme but can include targeted homework, progress reviews, doubt-clearing, performance analytics and parent updates. Admissions-test programmes also use timed practice and detailed error analysis to guide the next stage of study.
How much does tutoring cost?
Fees depend on the subject, format and number of sessions. Current one-to-one packages and terms are listed on our pricing page; admissions-test programme pages show their own portal and course options.
How does the Score Guarantee work?
Eligible programmes have clearly defined attendance, completion and assessment requirements. Please review the full Score Guarantee policy before enrolling so expectations and evidence requirements are clear.
